He was born in 1933 in the city of Omsk.
He graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute in 1958.
People's Artist of Ukraine.
Full member of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine.
Participant of the Biennale in Rostock, Budapest, Sofia, exhibitions of Ukrainian art in Toulouse, New York, London.
He lives and works in Kyiv.
The works are stored in the collections of the National Museum of Ukrainian Art, the Kyiv Museum of Russian Art, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Peter Ludwig Museum (Germany), and Norman Dodge (USA).
